In episode six we finally made our way up a round tower, we learned about the Augury of Brigid, and we enjoyed a feast fit for a Goddess! Now you can imagine yourself ascending the Round Tower any time you have something particularly difficult to overcome! Just imagine yourself there and there you will be! You can think about about all we learned over the entire series and add new locations to your own mind map as you wish! Don’t forget – the gift shop is your own room of requirement, so as long as you can remember the gift shop in your mind’s eye and take yourself there in your imagination, you have everything you need! This episode’s free printable is a meal planner for Imbolc to help you stay organized no matter how big or small the celebration!
I loved going on this journey with you and so I have one more surprise in store! Check back here on January 31st for a FREE IMBOLC EVE SURPRISE! And if you missed episode six check it out here!
In episode five, we explored Brigid’s Mantle of Protection. We learned about the Brat Bríde, visited a secret underground museum and explored the esoteric meaning behind a triptych by Remedios Varo. The museum is a place you can go back to anytime you like, all you have to do is look at piece of art, imagine it in your mind’s eye and place it on the wall of the museum. You can also access it through the well in the woods festival map! This week’s free printable is a maze and coloring page. Can you make your way through the museum without getting lost?
The next episode will be our last in the series (for now {stay tuned}). We will explore the round towers of Ireland and end with a feast created just for Goddess Brigid. In episode four, we explored the forge of creativity and the fire within our hearts. Accordingly, the printable this week is very near and dear to my heart. So many of us have been grieving the loss of loved ones lately and words don’t even begin to do the experience justice. This printable is a mix or grief therapy, art therapy, fire magic, visualization, keening, and self love. I hope it sparks something for you as it did for me. I’ve put this up for free in my Ko-Fi Shop as well. If this episode or this printable resonated with you, consider a small donation to keep the shop up and running.
If you’d like to watch episode four again, here it is! Thank you all for watching my little series and downloading my printables! It means the world to me that I’ve gotten to share this journey with you! We are few, but we are mighty! Love you all!
In episode three Brigid’s well makes a splash. Are you interested in the Rite of Dabhach Bhríde? I compiled a step-by-step instruction sheet, with all the prayers required for the rite. While I’m not catholic, I find this location and this tradition to be deeply moving. I may not always agree with the likes of the vatican, but I will never disrespect the deep beliefs of hardworking people and this inclusion into the study helped me open my heart to the amazing acts of worship for Brigid that have crossed from ancient veneration into modern religion. The more I study, the more I realize that Brigid is a bridge. IT IS HER NAME, and yet it’s taken me this long to understand it. She is a force that many are drawn to; whether though religion, spirituality or witchcraft. She draws us all together at her sacred well and she gives us a bridge to be able to understand each other.
I also want to mention that I have extensive source lists for where I researched this, and all of the episodes for Well in the Woods. If you are interested, please leave a comment and I’d love to share more! You can also find this and many other free printables in my Ko-Fi Shop! You can also see everything else that I’m up to on my Linktree! If you’d like to check out episode three again; here it is! Love you all!
In episode two The Grove of Song and Poetry takes center stage. Would you like to dig a little deeper into the music of Brigid? Below you’ll find an easy starter piece of sheet music to help get you started on your own Grove performance!
Did you catch the first episode of Well in the Woods? The first free printable is the February Calendar designed for Brigid! I’ve uploaded it in color and black and white. I hope it inspires you to visit the fair grounds during your own meditations and maybe even in your dreams!
Ready to plan your witchy year? Don’t want anyone else in charge of writing your magical history? Apocalypse Archives exists to challenge common esoteric, religious, and spiritual stereotypes! Often times, top down power structures will use the idea of an apocalypse to control populations, but really each and every person ever born on earth will face an apocalypse of their own. Death, after-all, is not simply ceasing to exist, but it is in fact the looming finality of losing contact with all of planet earth. Dealing with death is just as catastrophic as dealing with the loss of an entire planet. We all face “the apocalypse” every single day as we age, but it’s up to us to leave our own magical legacy behind!
So many times we hear about grimoires, tomes, extensive magical libraries and even akashic records – but just like power structures lean on apocalyptic thinking to control masses, modern day con artists use these magical buzzwords to make you think someone, somewhere, way back in time had it all figured out! Well guess what? They didn’t! And neither will you! Thinking that a book can give us answers is another way control the masses is it not?
Take your magical practice into your own hands and start writing your own magical history! Not only will you be grateful to have something to look back on, but you’ll also have something magical to leave behind! I’m working on creating printables that will help you become your own archivist and I’m just getting started! This year, I’ll be creating resources to help you in your magical and spiritual practice and hopefully maybe even inspiring new ways to think about magic.
Also, I’ve got free calendars and planning tools below to help you plan out your magic and record your progress in a way that works for you! Keep scrolling! I left up the 2025 yearly calendars January monthly calendars and February monthly calendars for FREE in the post below!! Check out my linktree to see what I’m up to and stay up to date! Love you all so much!
